CARE & USE
GENERAL
- Put on and take off your mask with clean hands.
- After putting mask on, adjust the ear loops, or the back of head elastic with toggle or retying. Pinch the nose band in for a snug fit. Gaps around the mask reduce effectiveness.
- Sanitize between uses (see below).
- Make sure the mask stays dry while wearing it. When masks get wet, even from the moisture of exhalation, the fabric is a less effective barrier.
- Owning several masks allows for one to always be in the wash cycle. Keep one in your car, your purse, your coat pocket.
- Two-layer cotton masks like ours have been shown to be effective in blocking viruses.
- My mask protects you, your mask protects me. Masks are most effective when the people carrying the virus are wearing them, as well as the people around them. Since we don't always know who is contagious, let's all wear them in public and protect each other.
SIZING
- All our masks are adjustable for size and fit by using the elastic
- The Frontline masks are made for adults and come in small, medium and large
- The fitted and pleated masks are one size fits most adults.
- Since child sizes vary widely, the kid masks won't fit every kid. They are pleated style masks which when fully folded in are approximately 6.5" wide x 3.5" high
- All masks are sewn by independent sewers, so there will be some slight size variation.
FILTERS
We use Halyard H600 surgical wrap material as our filters. The filter slides into the pocket between the layers. Depending on which mask type you have, you will find one or two filter openings on the inner layer. Read more about filters here.
SANITIZING INSTRUCTIONS
Our masks are made of cotton and may be washed and reused many times. Remove the filter before washing. Machine wash on regular with warm water and regular detergent. Hang to dry or use low heat. High dryer heat may damage the elastic.
ARTISTS MASKS
We recommend hand washing the artists masks in warm soapy water rather than machine washing.

We strive for consistency but some of our masks have behind the head elastic and some have ear elastic. Some have toggles and some don't.
